About The Learning Harness
Why I built it, how I use it, and who I am.
Why it exists
While I had a full-time job, I started developing personal learning workflows outside that work. After I left my full-time job, I formalised those workflows into The Learning Harness.
I wanted to learn a technical field properly and retain what I learned. Courses gave me watch time and a certificate. A chat window gave me answers that I could not reproduce a week later. I needed a routine based on evidence: a lesson that matched what I knew, a test on the same day, an explanation in my own words on the next day, and spaced cards for each concept that passed. The app runs that routine and keeps me from skipping a step. The method page explains the routine. How to learn properly with AI gives the evidence.
I use the macOS app each day. I change the method when my use shows a problem. The site describes the method that I use now.
Who builds it
I am Ojasvi Yadav, an applied AI engineer and former researcher in Bengaluru, India. At Sabi, I built agent backends, real-time voice and memory systems, app integrations, and computer-vision tools for a brain-computer interface product. Before that, I built biomedical data-extraction systems, founded Misoki, led AI at Writesonic, led data science at Dukaan, and worked as a research engineer at V-SENSE. I have published three first-author AI papers with more than 100 citations. My image-processing research shipped in 43 million Xiaomi smartphone cameras. I build The Learning Harness independently.
